Lannore Terms of Use
Version: 2026-11-03.1 (replaces 2026-11-01.1)
Language: English (source text). The German version has the same content; both are equally binding.
Provider: RPK Digital Solution GbR Khorsandi Khayamdar, operating the AGIMetis brand and the Lannore product, Ludwig-Quidde-Straße 5, 13127 Berlin, Germany, represented by its partners Ramin Khorsandi and Parisa Khayamdar ("Lannore", "we", "us")
Contact: contact@agimetis.com
Status: Applies from its publication in the app.
Sections 1 to 16 apply to every member worldwide. Section 17 contains the rules for specific countries and regions; where it differs from sections 1 to 16, it prevails for members who live there.
1. Scope and availability
1.1 These terms govern your Lannore account and your use of Lannore on the web (app.lannore.com), on Android and on Google TV, including every purchase and subscription you make in Lannore.
1.2 If you publish films as a creator, the Creator Terms and the licence for each film apply in addition. Organisations use Lannore under a separate written agreement. Your own terms and conditions do not apply, even if we do not object to them.
1.3 Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. Our Community Guidelines and our Copyright and Takedown Policy describe the rules for content and conduct and form part of these terms. Our Refund and Payment Policy and our Youth Protection Policy explain payments, refunds and the protection of minors. Each Award season is governed by the Lannore Award Rules and its published season rules.
1.4 These terms are the general part of every contract you make on Lannore. For each purchase, the following also apply:
- the Product Terms, which describe rentals, premiere tickets, Lannore Plus, the Film Pass and the Founding Pass;
- the purchase module of the seller shown before you pay (section 5): the Purchase Terms for web purchases sold through Link, the Purchase Terms for app store purchases, or, if you buy as a business, the Purchase Terms for business customers;
- for Super-Danke, the Super-Danke Terms; for Creator Pro, the Creator Pro Terms; for advertising campaigns, the Advertising Terms and the Advertising Policy.
Where these documents differ, the more specific one prevails: the details shown before you buy, then the purchase module, then the Product, Super-Danke, Creator Pro or Advertising Terms, then these terms.
1.5 Lannore is available in the countries in which the app lets you register, watch and buy; purchases may be available in fewer countries than viewing. Lannore is not offered in mainland China, in Russia or Belarus, or in countries and regions subject to comprehensive sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the occupied regions of Ukraine). You may not use Lannore if you, or an organisation you act for, are listed on a sanctions list of the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States. You may not use technical means to hide where you are in order to get around these restrictions.
2. Your account
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and of legal age to enter into contracts where you live (for example 19 in South Korea). By creating an account you confirm that you are.
2.2 Each person may hold one account. Your account is personal and may not be transferred, sold or shared. Keep your password and second factor confidential and tell us without delay if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity in your account that you caused culpably, in particular by not keeping your credentials safe.
2.3 Your information must be accurate and kept up to date, in particular your email address and your country, because we send contractual messages to that address and determine prices, taxes and availability by country.
2.4 There is no right to an account. We may decline a registration, in particular to protect the service or other members, or because Lannore is not offered where you live.
3. What Lannore provides
3.1 Lannore is a curated platform for streaming independent films. Depending on the film, you can watch it free of charge, rent it, attend a paid premiere, redeem a credit or watch it with Lannore Plus. Films are streamed only; we do not provide downloads.
3.2 The catalogue changes. Films are added and removed according to the licences we hold. Which films you can access depends on your country, your device, the age classification of the film and the law where you live; we may make a film unavailable in a country to comply with local law. Unless a purchase expressly includes a specific film, you have no right to a particular film or to its continued availability.
3.3 To watch, you need an internet connection, a supported browser or device and, for some content, a current version of the app. Picture quality adapts to your connection and is at most 1080p. Films are protected by technical measures, in particular signed, time-limited streaming access.
3.4 We continually develop Lannore. We may change, add or remove free features. For digital products you have paid for, section 9 applies.
3.5 Age ratings. Every film carries an age rating that we show on its page, in the purchase area and when it starts, together with the main reasons for it. Films that may only be shown to adults behind a reliable age verification (for example films rated 18) are not available until such a verification is in place. Our Youth Protection Policy explains how films are rated.
3.6 AI notices. Where a film contains realistic images, sound or video that were generated or manipulated with artificial intelligence and could appear authentic (a deepfake), we say so on its page and when it starts.
3.7 Advertising and sponsor notes. Free films and other free areas of Lannore may show advertising. Advertising is always marked as such and names the advertiser; "Why am I seeing this?" explains why it is shown, and you can report it. We select advertising only by context, for example the film, collection or premiere you are watching and your country, never by a personal profile. Lannore Plus is free of advertising, and so is everything you paid for (a rental, a redeemed credit, a paid premiere). Where a sponsor financed a film or programme, a neutral, non-clickable note such as "Supported by …" may appear; it is not advertising and contains no offer.
3.8 Films and other content. Films are the works of their creators and show their views, not ours. We do not check them for factual accuracy, and we do not promise that a film will suit you.
4. Paid offers
4.1 We currently offer:
- Rentals: you can start a rented film within 30 days of purchase and watch it as often as you like for 48 hours from the first start.
- Premiere tickets: access to a film's premiere at the stated time and to its replay for 48 hours afterwards. You can cancel a ticket with a full refund until the time shown when you buy it.
- Credits and passes (for example the Film Pass or the Founding Pass): credits that you can redeem for rentals or tickets as described at purchase. Credits are valid for the period stated at purchase (currently 12 months from purchase), have no cash value, are personal and cannot be transferred or paid out.
- Lannore Plus: a subscription, free of advertising, to a changing selection of films (the Plus catalogue). It does not include rentals, premieres or credits (see section 6).
- Super-Danke: a highlighted thank-you message on a film's page with a supporter badge, in the amounts shown (currently 3, 5 or 10 euros). The creator of the film receives the share shown before you pay. Super-Danke is not a donation and does not buy any further service.
4.2 The Product Terms describe each product in detail. The details shown before you buy, in particular the price, the access period, the seller and the content included, form part of your contract. If they differ from these terms, they prevail.
4.3 Prices are shown in your currency and include the value-added tax, goods and services tax or similar tax that the seller must charge where you live. Your bank may charge fees for payments in a foreign currency. Additional costs, such as those of your internet connection, are your own.
5. How a contract is made, and payment
5.1 Who sells to you. RPK does not sell to consumers itself. Before you pay, Lannore shows you who sells the product to you:
- Web (app.lannore.com): Link, the merchant of record service of Stripe (Sold through Link, LLC), sells the purchase to you in its own name; the checkout shows "Sold through Link". Link charges the price and the tax, issues the receipt and handles payment, withdrawal, cancellation and refunds under its terms, which the checkout shows. The Purchase Terms for web purchases sold through Link apply.
- App store: in the Android and Google TV app, Google Play sells the purchase to you under Google Play's terms. The Purchase Terms for app store purchases apply.
- Business customers: if you buy as a business on the web (for example an advertising campaign or a creator service), RPK sells to you directly and issues the invoice. The Purchase Terms for business customers apply. Consumers cannot buy these offers. Creator Pro is sold by Link on the web and by Google Play in the apps, also to businesses.
In every case RPK provides the content and features you buy and is responsible for them as described in the Product Terms. Creators are never the seller of access to their films.
5.2 Order. Lannore shows you an overview with the product, the price including tax, the access period and the seller. You can correct your entries until you press the final button. By pressing the button marked with an unambiguous payment obligation (for example "Pay", "Buy now" or "Subscribe with obligation to pay"), you make a binding offer. The purchase module of the seller explains when the contract is concluded and how you pay.
5.3 Prices are due when the contract is concluded and subscription fees at the start of each billing period. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is paid.
5.4 Before you pay for digital content, Lannore asks you to confirm that you want access to begin immediately; before you subscribe, it also asks you to agree separately to the automatic renewal. After every purchase we send you a confirmation by email that contains the contract details, these terms and, where it applies, that request. The seller also sends you its own receipt.
5.5 The contract language is German or English, as you choose in Lannore, or another language if Lannore offers these terms in it and you accept them in that language. The version you accepted applies to you; no other language version prevails over it. We store your orders; you can see them in your account. The terms you accepted remain available at their versioned address. We have not subscribed to any code of conduct.
5.6 Refunds through the seller. Where these terms or the Product Terms say that we refund a price, we have the refund paid by the seller who charged you (Link or Google Play) to the means of payment you used. If the seller does not pay it, we pay it to you directly. You do not have to request the refund twice.
6. Lannore Plus
6.1 Trial. Where we offer a free trial, each account and each payment method may use it once. The trial converts into a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel before it ends. We remind you by email before the trial ends.
6.2 Term and renewal. A monthly plan runs for an indefinite period, is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current month. An annual plan runs for one year; after that it continues for an indefinite period and you can cancel it at any time with one month's notice. If you cancel an annual plan after its first year, we refund the fee you paid in advance for the time after your cancellation takes effect, pro rata. At least 30 days before each year of an annual plan ends, we tell you by email the last date for cancelling so that the plan ends with that year, and what happens if you do not cancel.
6.3 Cancelling. You can cancel online with "Cancel contracts here" (app.lannore.com/contracts/cancel), which works without signing in, by email or by any other clear statement. Without signing in, you name the email address of your account and the plan; we also inform that address of the cancellation. We confirm every cancellation by email with the date it takes effect. A subscription bought on the web can also be cancelled in your Link account (link.com); a subscription bought through Google Play is cancelled in Google Play. Access continues until the cancellation takes effect. Your statutory right to terminate for good cause is unaffected.
6.4 Catalogue. Plus gives access to the films in the Plus catalogue while they are in it, without advertising. The Plus catalogue is a selection that changes: we decide which films join it, for which period and in which countries, within the rights their creators grant. Films can therefore join and leave Plus; a film that is only offered for rent stays a rental for Plus members too. Before you subscribe, we show you the films currently in Plus in your country. We tell members who saved or started a film at least a week before it leaves Plus.
6.5 Price changes. We may only change the price of a running subscription with your consent. We will ask you for it in good time before the new price applies. If you do not consent, your subscription continues at the old price, but we may then end it with effect from the end of a billing period, giving at least one month's notice.
6.6 Our termination. We may end a subscription with effect from the end of a billing period, giving at least one month's notice, for example if we stop offering Plus. If we end it during a period you have paid for, we refund the unused part pro rata.
7. Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds of purchases
7.1 Whether you may withdraw from a purchase depends on the law where you live and on the terms of the seller. Section 17 sets out the right of withdrawal for the countries and regions where one exists, including how it ends early for digital content. Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
7.2 You can declare a withdrawal online with "Withdraw from contract" (app.lannore.com/contracts/withdraw) during the first 14 days after a purchase, wherever you live. We confirm receipt by email at once, see to it that the seller handles your withdrawal and tell you the outcome.
7.3 Where neither section 17 nor the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal, a purchase of digital content is final once access has been provided to you. Your rights for faulty products (section 9) and the cancellation of premiere tickets (section 4.1) are unaffected.
8. Rules for using Lannore
8.1 You may use films only to watch them privately and for non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, download, record, re-stream, publicly show, distribute or edit them, nor circumvent technical protection, region, age or access controls, except where the law expressly allows it.
8.2 You may not:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- post content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, deceptive or that discloses other people's personal data;
- manipulate watch time, votes, reports, comments, rankings or payments, or use bots, scripts or several accounts to do so;
- interfere with the operation or security of Lannore, test it for weaknesses without our permission, or scrape or collect data from it; or
- use Lannore commercially without our written agreement.
8.3 Comments. You are responsible for your comments. By posting one you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide right to store and show it within Lannore for as long as it is online. You can delete your comments at any time. We do not promise to keep comments permanently. This section also applies to Super-Danke messages and to posts in the community channel for founding members; the Super-Danke Terms and the Product Terms describe them.
8.4 Reports. You can report content or conduct you consider unlawful or in breach of these terms with the in-app report function or by email. Give enough detail for us to find and assess it. We review reports carefully and decide promptly; deliberately false reports may lead to measures under 8.5.
8.5 Our measures. If there are concrete indications of a breach of law or of these terms, we may, taking your legitimate interests into account and acting proportionately: remove or restrict content, warn you, restrict features, exclude watch time or votes affected by manipulation, suspend your account temporarily, or terminate it (section 13). Content decisions are made by people; automated signals only help us detect abuse and fraud. We tell you the measure and the reasons for it, unless the law prevents us, and you can ask us to review the decision in the app ("Decisions and appeals") or by email. Your right to go to court is unaffected.
9. Your rights if something does not work
9.1 For digital products you have paid for, you have the rights that the consumer law of your country gives you for faulty or missing digital content; section 17 names them for several regions.
9.2 We may change a paid digital product if there is a valid reason, such as adapting to new technology, a change in law or licences, security or new features, provided the change is free of charge for you and we inform you clearly. If the change impairs your access or use more than insignificantly, you may end the contract within 30 days of being informed, and we refund the unused part of any prepaid price.
9.3 We maintain Lannore with care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We schedule maintenance outside peak times where we can. Streaming also depends on your device, your connection and networks of third parties that we do not control. A free account gives you no right to a particular level of availability; for digital products you have paid for, section 9.1 applies.
10. Liability
10.1 We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under product liability law, for fraudulently concealed defects and under any guarantee we have given. A guarantee exists only where we expressly call it a guarantee.
10.2 For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of contract when it was concluded.
10.3 Otherwise our liability is excluded. These limits also apply to our partners, employees and agents. Your rights under section 9.1, and any liability that the law where you live does not allow us to exclude or limit, remain unaffected.
10.4 If you culpably infringe the rights of others through your content or your use of Lannore, you indemnify us against the claims of those others, including the reasonable costs of our legal defence. We will inform you of such claims without delay and give you the opportunity to respond.
11. Lannore Awards
You can vote in an Award season under the Lannore Award Rules and the season's published rules, with one vote per category and only after you have watched at least the share of the film the rules require. We may exclude votes that are based on manipulation or several accounts. There is no right to a particular result.
12. Rights in Lannore
Lannore, its software, design and marks belong to us or our licensors; the films belong to their rights holders. Apart from the rights expressly granted in these terms, you receive no rights. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
13. Ending the contract
13.1 You can end the contract for your account at any time by deleting your account in the account settings or by telling us. Deletion takes effect 30 days after your request, which you can cancel during that time. Running subscriptions must be cancelled first. When your account is deleted, access bought for it, including unused rentals, tickets and credits, ends. Your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.
13.2 We can end a free account at any time with one month's notice. If we end an account that holds unused paid access without good cause, we refund the unused part pro rata.
13.3 Either party may terminate for good cause without notice. Good cause for us includes in particular serious or repeated breaches of these terms, manipulation of payments, votes or watch time, fraud, a legal requirement, or a breach that continues after a warning. If we terminate for good cause that you are responsible for, there is no refund for unused access, unless the law requires one.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for a valid reason, such as new features, a change in law or court decisions, new countries, or new security requirements. Changes apply only with your consent: we show you the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before you continue. If you do not accept it, we may end the contract with one month's notice, and for a subscription with effect from the end of a billing period, and refund any unused prepaid amount pro rata. Changes never affect purchases already completed.
15. Transfer of the contract
We may transfer this contract to a company that continues Lannore. We will tell you in advance, and you may then end the contract with effect from the transfer; we refund any unused prepaid amount pro rata.
16. Applicable law, disputes and final provisions
16.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and German conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of your habitual residence. Section 17 may provide otherwise for a region.
16.2 If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts of Berlin, Germany, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts that the law where you live allows.
16.3 If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest of the terms remains valid, and the statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid one.
16.4 Notices to us should be sent to contact@agimetis.com. This address is also our single point of contact for members and authorities under the Digital Services Act; you can write to us in English or German. Section 17.1.8 adds further languages for consumers in the European Union and the European Economic Area. Our full provider details are in the Lannore imprint.
17. Regional terms
17.1 European Union and European Economic Area
17.1.1 Faulty digital products. You have the statutory rights for digital products (in Germany §§ 327 ff. BGB), including updates needed to keep them working. Section 9.2 applies within the limits of these rights. These rights also apply to a free account where we process your personal data for purposes other than supplying it or meeting our legal obligations; section 9.3 does not limit them. If a change under section 9.2 affects your access or use negatively, unless only to a minor degree, we inform you on a durable medium reasonably in advance, and you may end the contract free of charge within 30 days of receiving the information or, if later, of the change being made, unless we let you keep the product unchanged at no extra cost.
17.1.2 Disputes. If you are a consumer living in France and we cannot settle a dispute arising from your contract with us, you can apply to the Universalschlichtungsstelle des Bundes, Zentrum für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Germany (www.universalschlichtungsstelle.de). We take part in dispute resolution proceedings before this body for consumers living in France. As a rule they are free of charge for you. You can contact the body in French, and if you wish we agree to proceedings in French. This applies to disputes with us, not to disputes with Link or Google Play about a purchase from them. In all other cases we do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
17.1.2a Use while travelling (portability). If you live in a member state of the European Union and stay only temporarily in another member state, you can use the paid content and features of Lannore there as at home, without extra charge (Regulation (EU) 2017/1128). Your member state of residence is the country you state in your account, which is also the country of your contracts; tell us if you move. For the few films whose rights holders have not authorised use without a residence check, we confirm your residence once a year from the billing address of a purchase before you can watch them while travelling. A permanent move is a change of residence, not a temporary stay; outside the European Union, the territories of each film's licence apply to where you are.
17.1.3 Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the contract. Because RPK does not sell to consumers, the seller is your partner for the withdrawal: Link for purchases on the web and Google Play for purchases in the apps. The withdrawal information of that seller applies; it is shown in the checkout and in the seller's confirmation, and the purchase module for that seller explains where to find it.
17.1.4 Early expiry for digital content. For a contract for digital content (for example a rental, a premiere ticket, a pass or Lannore Plus), your right of withdrawal expires as soon as performance has begun, provided that you expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and received a confirmation of this on a durable medium. For a digital service that is not digital content (for example Super-Danke), it expires once the service has been fully performed, provided that you expressly consented to performance beginning and acknowledged that you lose the right on full performance. For a pass, performance begins when you first redeem one of its credits.
17.1.5 Declaring a withdrawal in Lannore. In addition to the ways the seller offers, you can declare your withdrawal in Lannore with "Withdraw from contract" (app.lannore.com/contracts/withdraw) or by email to contact@agimetis.com. We confirm receipt on a durable medium without delay, stating the content of your declaration and the date and time it was received, and we see to it that the seller handles it (section 5.6).
17.1.6 Liability for consumers outside Germany. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the European Economic Area outside Germany, sections 10.1 to 10.3 do not apply to you, and our liability follows the statutory law of your country. For content posted by members, we are liable under the rules for hosting services, in particular if we knew of unlawful content and did not act promptly to remove it or disable access to it (Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
17.1.7 Termination for good cause. If you are a consumer and we terminate for good cause under section 13.3, we refund the unused part of any prepaid price pro rata, less any damages you owe us. The last sentence of section 13.3 does not apply to you.
17.1.8 Complaints and language. If you are a consumer, you can send us a complaint by email, in the app, by post or by telephone, using the details in the imprint. We confirm it by email with a reference and reply within 14 days. You can write to us in any language in which Lannore offers these terms. If the meaning of a clause is in doubt, the reading most favourable to you applies.
17.2 United Kingdom
17.2.1 If you are a consumer, you may cancel a purchase within 14 days of the contract (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Sections 17.1.3 to 17.1.5 apply accordingly, including how the right ends once access to digital content has begun at your express request and with your acknowledgement.
17.2.2 Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (Consumer Rights Act 2015). If it is not, you may ask for a repair or replacement and, where that is not possible, a price reduction.
17.2.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Section 10 otherwise applies to the extent the Consumer Rights Act 2015 allows.
17.2.4 English law protections that cannot be excluded apply. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, depending on where you live.
17.3 Switzerland
17.3.1 Swiss law gives no right of withdrawal for purchases made online. Section 7.3 applies: a purchase of digital content is final once access has been provided.
17.3.2 If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
17.4 United States
17.4.1 Automatic renewal. Lannore Plus renews automatically at the price and interval shown before you subscribe until you cancel. You agree to these renewal terms separately when you subscribe, and we keep a record of that consent. You can cancel online at any time with "Cancel contracts here" (app.lannore.com/contracts/cancel); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period or, for an annual plan after its first year, as section 6.2 says, and you are not charged again. We remind you by email before a free trial ends and before an annual plan renews.
17.4.2 Refunds. There is no statutory right to withdraw from a purchase. Sections 4.1 and 7.3 apply.
17.4.3 Disclaimer. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANNORE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
17.4.4 Limitation of liability. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO LANNORE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR LANNORE PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND USD 50. Some states do not allow these exclusions or limitations, so some of them may not apply to you.
17.4.5 Arbitration and class action waiver. Please read this carefully. You and we agree to resolve any dispute relating to these terms or Lannore by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in a class or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing contact@agimetis.com within 30 days after you first accept these terms, stating your name and the email address of your account. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 17.4.5. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court and not in arbitration.
17.4.6 Governing law. For members who live in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and section 16.1 does not apply. Section 10 is replaced by sections 17.4.3 and 17.4.4.
17.4.7 Copyright. Notices of claimed copyright infringement are handled under our Copyright and Takedown Policy.
17.4.8 California residents. Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
17.5 Canada
17.5.1 The consumer protection law of your province or territory applies and prevails over these terms where it gives you more rights, including any right to cancel a distance contract.
17.5.2 If you live in Quebec, you may use Lannore only once a French version of these terms is available to you.
17.6 Brazil
17.6.1 Purchases are available in Brazil only once our consumer information is available in Portuguese; this section applies to them from then on.
17.6.2 You may withdraw from a purchase within seven days of the contract and receive a full refund (Article 49 of the Consumer Defence Code). Use "Withdraw from contract" or write to us.
17.6.3 Nothing in these terms limits rights that the Consumer Defence Code does not allow to be limited. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
17.7 Australia and New Zealand
17.7.1 Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
17.7.2 In New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to the extent it cannot be excluded.
17.7.3 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
17.8 India
17.8.1 Lannore is offered in India only once our grievance officer is named in the app; this section applies from then on.
17.8.2 You may raise a complaint with our grievance officer, who acknowledges it within 48 hours and resolves it within one month (Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020).
17.8.3 Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected, including your right to approach a consumer commission in India.
